Caught

Caught,
between the conflict--
Ripped,
between the two--
Confused,
and yet delighted--
Unsure,
and yet amused.

The sides
are two so different
and I
must find the balance--
Harmony's
the goal;
Equilibrium's
the challenge.

See me bridge the chasm,
speaking to my selves.
One
side is a child;
One
is an adult.

Got
to hold together--
got
to find the balance--
got
to find the way to be
ALL the things
I ought to be.

Got
to be responsible;
Got
to be myself.
Got
to be a child;
Got
to be an adult.

I was going to say that I liked the last stanza best but then I realized that I liked it best because I understood it best so once I understood that little part I read the whole poem again but from bottom to top and I realized that it's all talking about the same thing and now I like the whole poem...
especially the last stanza.
